Cruise transfers to PortMiami and Port Everglades

Timed to the boarding window on your ticket, with genuine space for a week of luggage.

Getting to the ship without the stress

Cruise days run on someone else’s clock. Boarding windows are fixed, luggage is heavy, and PortMiami on a Saturday morning is one of the busiest passenger terminals in the world. A pre-booked private transfer removes the one variable you can actually control.

Limolux MB runs door-to-terminal transfers to PortMiami and Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, in a Chevrolet Suburban with genuine luggage capacity.

Why an SUV matters on a cruise run

This is the trip where vehicle size stops being a luxury and becomes practical. A couple on a seven-night cruise typically travels with two large cases, two carry-ons and a day bag. That does not fit in a standard sedan alongside the passengers. The Suburban takes up to 6 passengers, or fewer passengers with a full load of luggage, without anything riding on a lap.

How we time it

  • Boarding window, not departure time. We work backwards from the time printed on your boarding pass, not the ship’s sailing time.
  • Terminal-specific drop-off. PortMiami has multiple terminals and they are not close together. Send your ship and we will take you to the right one.
  • Disembarkation pickups. Returning passengers are released in waves. We track your assigned group rather than guessing.
  • Airport-to-ship in one booking. If you are flying in the same day, we handle both legs as a single trip.

Flying in the same day?

It is common, and it is tighter than people expect. If your flight lands after 11am for an afternoon sailing, tell us when you book so we can plan the route and the wait time properly. See airport transfers for how the arrivals side works.

Common questions

What time should I be picked up for my cruise?

We work backwards from the boarding window on your ticket, not the sailing time. As a rule we aim to have you at the terminal at the start of your window, which for most PortMiami sailings means a late-morning pickup. Send us the ticket and we will set the time for you.

Do you know which terminal my ship uses?

Yes. PortMiami operates several terminals spread along the causeway and they are not walkable from one another. Give us the cruise line and ship name when you book and we will confirm the terminal.

How does the pickup work when I get off the ship?

Disembarkation happens in assigned groups over a couple of hours. Tell us your group or approximate release time and we will meet you rather than have the vehicle sitting on the meter while you queue.

Can you take us straight from the airport to the ship?

Yes, and it is one of our most common bookings. It is a single trip, not two. If your flight lands after 11am for an afternoon sailing, mention it when booking so we can plan for the tighter window.

What if there are more than six of us?

We operate one Chevrolet Suburban directly. For larger parties we arrange a bigger vehicle through vetted partner operators, quoted the same way. You will be told clearly which vehicle is ours and which is a partner’s.

Do you go to Port Everglades too?

Yes. Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale is a longer run than PortMiami and is priced separately, but it works exactly the same way.
