A chauffeur and vehicle, by the hour
The car stays with you between stops, for viewings, events, and days that will not fit an itinerary.
The vehicle stays with you
Some days do not fit into point-to-point bookings. Property viewings across three neighbourhoods, a dinner with two stops before it, a day of meetings where nobody can say exactly when the last one ends. Hourly charter puts a Chevrolet Suburban and chauffeur at your disposal for a block of time, and the vehicle waits rather than leaving.
When hourly makes more sense
- Multi-stop days. Cheaper and far less disruptive than booking four separate transfers.
- Property and yacht viewings. Bags, brochures and coats stay in the car between stops.
- Nights out. One driver for the evening, no surge pricing at 1am, no waiting on a corner in the rain.
- Events and conferences. Between-venue transport where timings shift constantly.
- Guests you are hosting. Put visiting family or clients in a car for the day without driving them yourself.
How it works
Hourly charter is booked in blocks with a minimum booking period, quoted up front. The clock starts at your scheduled pickup and ends when you are dropped at your final stop. Mileage within Miami-Dade and Broward is included; longer runs such as Palm Beach or Key Largo are quoted separately because they are genuinely different journeys.
Common questions
What is the minimum booking?
There is a minimum block, which varies by day and time – weekend evenings carry a longer minimum than weekday mornings. We confirm it when you enquire rather than advertising a number that turns out not to apply to your date.
What if we run over?
The vehicle stays and the extra time is billed at the same rate. There is no penalty multiplier for overrunning.
Can we change the itinerary during the day?
Yes. That is the point of booking hourly rather than fixed transfers. Tell the chauffeur and the route changes.
Does the driver wait at each stop?
Yes, either at the door or in the nearest legal waiting spot. You are not re-booking at each stop and you are not carrying your belongings around all day.
Can we drink in the vehicle?
Florida law prohibits open containers for passengers in this class of vehicle, so no. The chauffeur will be glad to stop somewhere instead.
Can you do a full-day airport plus sightseeing combination?
Yes, and it is a good use of an hourly block. Many visitors land, tour, and check in later the same day. See airport transfers if you only need the arrival leg.
