The Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show runs 10–14 February 2027, split between the Miami Beach Convention Center and a string of Downtown Miami marinas. It is one of the few Miami events where the transport problem is not getting to it but getting between its venues.
The dates and hours
- Wednesday 10 February: 10am – 6pm
- Thursday 11 February: 10am – 6pm
- Friday 12 February: 10am – 7pm
- Saturday 13 February: 10am – 7pm
- Sunday 14 February: 10am – 5pm
Those closing times matter more than the opening ones. Everyone leaves within the same half hour, and the Friday and Saturday 7pm finishes push straight into the evening dinner rush.
It is not one venue, it is several
The show spreads across the Miami Beach Convention Center and multiple waterfront sites on the mainland, including Pride Park, Herald Plaza, Venetian Marina and Museum Park Marina, plus the superyacht display at Yacht Haven Grande. They are not walkable from one another, and they sit on opposite sides of Biscayne Bay.
Shuttles and water taxis run between sites, but they run to their own schedule and queue at peak times. If you are attending on business — meeting brokers, viewing several boats, moving with clients — the shuttle timetable becomes the thing your day is built around rather than your appointments.
Why most Boat Show clients book by the hour
This is the clearest case on the Miami calendar for hourly charter. The vehicle stays with you across the day, brochures and coats stay in the car between sites, and you move on your schedule rather than the shuttle’s. When a viewing runs long, the car waits.
It is also the format that works when you are hosting. Clients flown in for the show expect to be collected, not directed to a shuttle stop. Our corporate car service handles that side, including monthly invoicing if the show is part of a wider account.
Parking is the other reason
Convention Center parking fills early and the Downtown marina sites have very little of it. Show parking is typically pre-booked and often sits some distance from the entrance you actually want. Being dropped at the door and collected from an agreed point removes the entire problem, and on a five-day show it usually costs less than parking plus the time lost to it.
Arriving for the show
Miami International is the closest airport to both the beach and Downtown. A great deal of Boat Show traffic arrives by private aviation into Opa Locka Executive or Fort Lauderdale, and we collect from FBOs directly — give us the tail number or the operator when you book. See airport transfers for how arrivals work.
Common questions
When is the Miami International Boat Show 2027?
10 to 14 February 2027, across the Miami Beach Convention Center and several Downtown Miami marina sites. Opening hours are 10am to 6pm midweek, 10am to 7pm on Friday and Saturday, and 10am to 5pm on the Sunday.
Can you move us between the show sites during the day?
Yes, and that is the most common Boat Show booking. On an hourly charter the vehicle stays with you and crosses between the beach and the mainland sites as often as your day needs.
Is it worth booking a car rather than using the shuttles?
If you are sightseeing, the shuttles are fine. If you have appointments, are carrying materials, or are hosting clients, a car that waits is the difference between keeping your schedule and rebuilding it around a queue.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to three weeks. Boat Show week overlaps with peak winter season in Miami, so vehicles are committed early across the whole city.
Can you collect from a private aviation terminal?
Yes. We meet aircraft at FBOs rather than waiting in a public hall. Send the tail number or the operator name with the booking.
