F1 Miami Grand Prix: Transport To and From the Autodrome

The 2027 Miami Grand Prix date is not yet confirmed. How race-weekend transport works, and why the pickup point decides your evening.

The Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix takes place at the Miami International Autodrome, the circuit built around Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. The 2027 date has not yet been confirmed — the race has run on the first weekend of May in recent years, and that is the working assumption until the calendar is published.

We would rather tell you the date is unconfirmed than print one you build a trip around. Check the official Formula 1 calendar before booking flights, and we will update this page when the date is announced.

Why race weekend is a transport problem

Three days, escalating each day, ending with everyone leaving at once. The circuit is built across the Hard Rock Stadium complex, roughly 20 miles from Miami Beach, in an area with limited road capacity and almost no standing rideshare supply.

When the race finishes, tens of thousands of people head for the same few roads simultaneously. Rideshare pricing multiplies and drivers decline rather than join the queue. The walk from the general pickup zones to wherever a car will actually meet you can be twenty minutes in full sun.

The pickup point is the whole game

We agree a collection point before race day, chosen to sit outside the main exit flow rather than inside it. You get the location and the chauffeur’s mobile number by text. That is the difference between leaving and standing.

It is also why race weekend bookings are made early. The good collection points are a finite resource, and operators who have not planned them end up telling passengers to walk.

How race weekend is usually booked

Most clients book the full weekend as hourly charter rather than three separate return transfers. Practice, qualifying and race day each run to their own timetable, hospitality runs long, and the schedule shifts. The vehicle stays with you and the route changes as the weekend does.

Corporate hospitality is a large part of the Miami Grand Prix, and client collection is handled through our corporate car service — including guests you are not travelling with, met by name and confirmed to you once they are aboard.

Arriving for the Grand Prix

Miami International is the main gateway. Race weekend also brings heavy private aviation traffic into Opa Locka Executive and Fort Lauderdale, and we collect from FBOs directly rather than from a public terminal. See airport transfers for how that works, including the four airports we cover.

Common questions

When is the F1 Miami Grand Prix 2027?

Not yet confirmed. The 2027 Formula 1 calendar has not been finalised for this race. In recent years it has run on the first weekend of May at the Miami International Autodrome. Confirm on the official Formula 1 site before booking travel.

Where does the car collect me after the race?

At a point agreed before race day, deliberately away from the main exit flow. The location and the chauffeur’s number are sent by text in advance.

Should I book each day separately or the whole weekend?

The whole weekend, as an hourly block per day. Race weekend timetables move, and a car that waits is worth considerably more than three fixed transfers that do not.

How far ahead should I book?

As early as the date is confirmed. Grand Prix weekend commits the city’s chauffeur capacity faster than any other Miami event, and late requests routinely cannot be filled.

Can you carry a group to the circuit?

Up to six passengers in an SUV, more in a Sprinter, and multiple vehicles for larger parties through vetted partner operators. See our fleet.
